The Bungalows offer:- Bed & Breakfast Accommodation and Self Catering cottages.We are in
the village of Threlked in the English lake district. The Bungalows are situated on the lower slopes of the
Blencathra mountain range and offer unobstructed views over the quiet village of Threlkeld towards St. Johns in the Vale and
the northern end of the Helvellyn range. The view to the west looks towards the fells around Derwentwater and Keswick and
beyond.
Threlkeld village has two inns [both serving food], a golf course. Pony trekking and fishing are nearby.
It is an ideal centre for walking, touring or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. .
Though we are situated in
the Northern English Lakes District, we are only 14 miles from J40 M6 and within easy reach of
all the lakes and tourist areas like Windermere, Ullswater and Keswick. Also to the east we have the beautiful Eden Valley,
with it's picturesque villages, and the Pennines.
A few miles to the north is the Border City of Carlisle, Hadrians
Wall and Gretna Green[ the romantic gateway to Scotland].
For the more adventurous Edinburgh is
a 2 to 3 hour drive through the Borders
We are open all year round for B&B
and Self catering and we are justifiably proud of our international reputation for service and northern hospitality.
